Configuring the series options

Here's how to configure the data series shown on the chart:

1.In the Series panel, select the data series that you wish to configure.

2.Fill out the following fields that will be displayed in the Options panel:

Name: This field is filled in by the system with the name of the series assigned by the system, but it is possible to edit it. In that case, enter the desired name for the series.

Enable: Check this option for the series to be displayed on the chart. Otherwise, it will be omitted.

Data labels: Check this option so that the labels of the series data are displayed in the chart.

Axis: Click on the Main option for the series to be plotted based on the Y-axis values of the left side. By clicking on the Secondary option, the chart will be plotted based on the Y-axis values of the right side.

Type: Select the option corresponding to the way the series data will be displayed in the chart: Line, Column and Area. In order for the series-specific values not to be presented, simply do not click on none of the options.

Color: This option is only enabled if a type is selected previously. In this case, select the color with which the series data will be displayed in the chart. In the charts of the "Line" and "Area" types, in addition to the area/line color, it will also be necessary to define a color for the markers in these chart types.

Line width: This option will only be enabled if the previous type is "Line". In that case, drag the slider button on this field until the line representing the series data reaches the desired thickness.

Format: This option is only enabled if the previous type is "Line" or "Area". In that case, select the format that the series data markers will have: square, circle, triangle, star, or none.

Format size: This option will only be enabled if the previous type is "Line" or "Area". In that case, drag the slider button in this field until the series data markers reach the desired format.

Decimal places: Define the number of decimal places that will be displayed in the series values.

Prefix/Suffix: Use these fields to define the prefix and/or the suffix that should be displayed in the series values.

Group labels: This option will only be enabled if the previous type is "Line". Check it for the label to not be repeated at every point of the line when every series value is constant, allowing for their grouping.

3.After you have made the necessary configurations, use the save option from the "Record" palette.
