First of all, select the desired option to build the view hierarchy: Classification, Occurrence department, Owner dept., Document category, Process type, or Product type, i.e., the corresponding hierarchy will be displayed according to the selected option. Check the Display lower level records option, so that the records of the levels below the item selected in the hierarchy are also considered in the search.

Occurrence period: Select the date range that covers the date of the occurrence identification you wish to view. This field will be automatically filled in with a specific period if the respective option is checked in the profile defined as default for the logged user.

Occur. #: Enter the ID # range that covers the ID # of the occurrence you wish to view.

Status: Check the status of the occurrence you wish to view: Open, Concluded, or Cancelled.

Step: Select the execution step in which the occurrence you wish to view is. If the Occurrence identification in question was rejected, check the respective field.

Keyword: Enter a word or part of a word that belongs to the name of the occurrence you wish to view.

Classification: Select the classification to which the occurrence you wish to view belongs.

Occurrence department: Select the department where the occurrence you wish to view happened. Check the Display lower level records option for the subcategories of the selected department to be considered in the view search as well. This field will be automatically filled in with the default department if the respective option is checked in the profile defined as default for the logged user.

Owner dept.: Select the department that issued the occurrence you wish to view.

Owner: Select the user who issued to the occurrence you wish to view.

Severity: Select the severity level of the occurrence you wish to view.

Document: Select the document that has been associated with the occurrence you wish to view. For this resource to work correctly, the SE Document component must be part of the solutions acquired by your organization.

Process: Select the process that has been associated with the occurrence you wish to view. In order for this feature to function properly, it is necessary for the SE Process component to be part of the solutions acquired by your organization.

Product: Select the product that has been associated with the occurrence you wish to view. In order for this feature to function correctly, it is necessary for the SE PDM component to be part of the solutions acquired by your organization.

Cause type: Select the type of the cause that has been associated with the occurrence you wish to view.

Cause: Select the cause that has been associated with the occurrence you wish to view.

Resp. dpt. for the cause: Select the department responsible for the occurrence cause you wish to view.

Root cause: Check this field to display occurrences that have root causes associated with them in the search result.

Potential cause: Check this field to display the occurrences that have potential causes associated with them in the search result.

Analysis tools: Check this field to display the occurrences that have a configured analysis tool in the search result.

Probable cause: Select, if any, the probable cause of the occurrence you wish to view.

Action deadline: Check the option that corresponds to the deadline of the action associated with the occurrence you wish to view: on time, close to due date, or past due. If this last option is selected, enter the number of days past due.

Containment/Disposition (informative): Select the type of the containment/disposition action associated with the occurrence you wish to view. The Disposition/Containment token varies according to the configuration set in the Configuration General parameters menu.

Item type: Select the type of the item associated with the occurrence you wish to view.

Item: Select the item associated with the occurrence you wish to view.

Defect type: Select the type of the defect associated with the occurrence you wish to view.

Defect: Select the defect associated with the occurrence you wish to view.

Closure period: Select the date range that covers the closure date of the occurrence you wish to view.

Cost: Enter, in the respective fields, the range of values that cover the Actual and/or Estimated cost of the action associated with the occurrence you wish to view.

Leader: Select the leader of the process flow associated with the occurrence you wish to view.

Process flow: Select the process flow associated with the occurrence you wish to view.

Method: Select the method associated with the classification of the occurrence you wish to view.

Effective: Select the corresponding option to indicate whether the action plan associated with the occurrence you wish to view has been effective, ineffective, or both.

Repeating occurrence: Select the corresponding option to indicate whether the occurrence you wish to view repeats.

Reoccurrence: Select the corresponding option to indicate whether the occurrence you wish to view is a reoccurrence.

Impact: Select the corresponding option to indicate whether the occurrence you wish to view has an impact analysis.

Legitimate: Select the corresponding option to indicate whether the occurrence record you wish to view is legitimate.

Contains attachment: Select the corresponding option to indicate whether attachment you wish to view has an attachment.

Click on the button and, on the screen that will be displayed, select the attributes associated with the occurrence you wish to view. In the respective columns, enter an operator and a value for them. If using more than one attribute, in the respective column, select between the AND/OR options to define how they must be considered in the search. Use the other displayed buttons to import the attribute of the classification selected in the hierarchy in the Browse tab and delete the selected attribute associated with the filter.
