Editing a template file |
A template file is the file that defines the header, footer, logo etc. of SE Suite reports. It is edited through Jaspersoft Studio, which is a tool that aims to facilitate the construction of reports by using the JasperReports library.
To edit the file of a template, first, locate and select it in the main screen list of records.
On the toolbar, click on the button. Wait for Jaspersoft Studio to load. It is important to point out that this tool will only be opened if it is installed in the client workstation.
Once done, the report template will be displayed. Perform the desired changes. For more information on using Jaspersoft Studio, access: https://community.jaspersoft.com/wiki/designing-report-jaspersoft-studio.
After performing all the necessary configurations, save and close the report file.
While the file is being edited, the template record will be blocked. A blocked report template can be identified by the icon in column B of the main screen list of records. As soon as the record is closed, the system automatically unblocks it. If you must unblock the template manually, select the record and click on the More button on the toolbar. |
