Planning a project APQP/PPAP |
Through the "Management APQP/PPAP planning" menu, it is possible to view the APQP/PPAPs created through a project of the SE Project component. The project APQP/PPAP is added through the SE Project component. See below how to create an APQP/PPAP through this component:
To create the project that will be presented as an APQP/PPAP in the planning menu, you first need to create or edit a project type, enabling the integration with SE APQP/PPAP. To enable the integration, access the Optional Integrations, tab in the project type data. Check the "Enable automation" option and in the Component field, select the "APQP/PPAP" option.
Project type data (SE Project > Configuration > Classification > Project type)
Then, create a project on the type that was configured in the previous step. For that, access the "Management Project planning" menu, in the SE Project component, and click on the button. On the screen that opens, enter the ID # and project name that will be created. Also, enter the other required fields of the project. When the project is integrated with APQP/PPAP, the "APQP/PPAP" section will be displayed in the General data section of the project. Select in this section, the APQP/PPAP type, the item, the item revision, and the item customer.
Project data (SE Project > Management > Project planning)
Once you have completed the required information, save the project data for the first time. At this point, the other sections will be presented in the project data screen. Also, fill in the other necessary information for the project in question.
After you close the data screen, plan the project tasks. To do that, select the project created and click on the button to open the Gantt Chart. Add the tasks by setting the date and the party responsible for executing each task. In the Gantt chart itself, a column named APQP/PPAP, in which the APQP/PPAP form must be associated when the task is under execution is displayed. Save and close Gantt Chart.

While the project is in planning, APQP/PPAP will also be in planning, that is, it will be presented in the "Management APQP/PPAP planning" menu, as long as the logged user is responsible for the project or is a member of the team responsible for the project. When you send the project to the execution step, the APQP/PPAP will also enter for execution. The details on how to perform an APQP/PPAP activity through the project can be viewed in the Executing project APQP/PPAP activities section. |
