Translating forms |
In this section, it will be presented how to perform the translation of the fields of a form:
1.To translate the form fields, first make sure the form allows the translation to be done. To do this, select the desired form, click on the arrow next to the button and select the Form Data option. Make sure Enable location is checked. The languages selected in this field will be enabled for translation in form modeling.
2.After verifying that the translation is possible, open the form designer. To do that, select the desired form, click on the arrow next to the button and select the Form designer option.
3.On the form designer screen, select a form field. At this point the button will be displayed next to the Title field in the Properties panel. The following image shows the button being displayed as soon as a field is selected in the designer:
4.Clicking on the button will display the Localization configuration screen, which will allow the inclusion of translations for this field. On the screen that appears, enter the translations for the field:
5.After entering the field translations, save and close the location setup screen. Repeat this procedure for the other fields on the form.
6.To view the translated form, click on the Display form button or go to the Execution Record by form menu and click on the button. At this point the form will be displayed in the same system language, otherwise the default field title will be displayed. See the examples below:
