Expression creation

The objective of the expressions is to perform calculations with form fields, variables, other expressions, functions, and even fixed values, and to update the values of the variables and other fields, allowing the creation of rules that use mathematical operations in addition to the existing conditional operations.

Create expression

1.To create an expression, click on the button.

2.On the screen that will be opened, enter a name for the expression.

3.In "Expression configuration", click on the "Add item" option to define the value source and define the field, the variable, the expression, the function, or the values.

4.Click on "Add item" again if you wish to sum, subtract, multiply, divide or concatenate expression values. It is worth noting that the system stores the expression formula; the calculations will only be executed during the completion of the form. Add as many items as necessary.

5.If no operation with the values is necessary, or after finishing adding new items to the expression, click on "Save and close".
