Location: File Characteristic
Overview:
Use this menu to create the characteristics that will be associated with the items and their processes. Characteristics describe items with properties and may be classified into the following types:
▪Attribute type characteristics: Attribute type characteristics are the characteristics that may not be measured. There are no quantitative specifications and only their defect and cause may be entered. A simple example of a characteristic of this type is Color. ▪Attribute type characteristics: Variable type characteristics are those that, unlike attribute type characteristics, may be measured and have specific details. Some simple examples of this type are: Weight, Height, Width, among others.

Click on the arrow next to this button and select one of the following options:
▪Attribute: Select this option to create the attribute type characteristics. See further details about this operation in the Creating an attribute type characteristic section. ▪Variable: Select this option to create the variable type characteristics. See further details about this operation in the Creating a variable type characteristic section. |

Click on this button to edit a characteristic. Select the desired record before clicking on the button.

Click on this button to delete a characteristic. Select the desired record before clicking on the button.

Click on this button to view the data screen of a characteristic. Select the desired record before clicking on the button.

Click on the arrow next to this button to export the list of records displayed on the main screen to an Excel file, configure a new report or associate an existing report, or search for the parameters that may be used when configuring new reports.

Click on this button to enable or disable the record selected on the main screen. To view the disabled records, use the "Status" field of the General filter, in the search filters panel.

Use the "Search filters" to easily retrieve records based on specific information.
