Changing the status of a project/program |
The way to edit the record status is similar for projects and programs, so the description will be made in this section only. See how to perform this operation:
1.In the list of records, locate and select the desired project or program. Projects and programs may have their status changed as long as they are in planning, execution, and tracking.
2.After that, click on the toolbar button.
3.At this point, the system will display the screen to perform the status change. The ID #, Name and Date fields will be filled in with the respective information of the project or program and of the operation being performed. Fill in the following fields:
Action: Select the desired action to change the status of the program or project: ▪Cancel: It cancels the planning/execution of a program or project. ▪Postpone: Temporarily interrupts the planning/execution of a program or project. ▪Reactivate: Reactivates a program or project that has been suspended or canceled. Explanation: Enter an explanation for the previously selected action. The entered explanation can be viewed in the History section of the project or program data screen.
4.After that, save the record. The project or program will then be displayed in the list of records with a status corresponding to the action selected before.
