Task:

Process revalidation

Who receives it:

Team responsible for the item/family of items the process is associated with. The deadline to execute this task is defined in the General parameters. Remember that, if the family of items has a process associated with it, the items created from that family will not receive the process revalidation task, because the family of items will be revalidated. These items will only receive this task if a process, associated with them later, goes through revision.

When:

Just as the revision of the process associated with the items or family of items is finished.

Purpose:

Notify that the items or families of items need to be revalidated due to the revision of the process.

 

How to execute this task:

 

1.Select the desired item from the list of pending records.

 

2.After that, click on the button on the toolbar.

 

3.At this point, the process revalidation screen will be displayed. In the Action field select one of the following options:

 

 

Action

None

Select this option for no action to be taken about the item/family of items.

Add revision

Select this option for a new revision to be created for the item/family of items in question. This option will only be displayed if the item/family of items is released and has revision control.

Associate last released revision

Select this option to change the obsolete revision of the item/family of items to the current revision.

 

4.After selecting one of the options of action, click on the button to execute the task.
