Task execution

Who receives it:

Users and teams responsible for the tasks added to the project.

Resources allocated, if the "Allow the resources allocated to perform tasks" option is selected in the task data.

When:

The project planning step that does not have the approval step configured is closed and sent to the next step.

The project planning is approved.

Purpose:

To allow the responsible parties to start, enter important information about the execution, and finish the execution of the project tasks.

How to execute this task:

1.In the list of pending records, select the desired task. It is possible to start or finish more than tasks at a time. Hold the CTRL and SHIFT keys down or check next to each task to select more than a record at a time.

Note that this menu will only display the pending tasks, i.e., tasks within the execution period.

2.After that, click on the arrow located next to the button and select the Task data option.

The execution of a task through SE GanttChart will not be approached in this section. For further details about the execution of a task through SE GanttChart, refer to the Task section.

3.If the task status is "Start", on the screen that will open, enter the task start date and the actual % of its execution. See the detailed description on how to start the execution of one or multiple tasks in the Executing a task section.

4.If the task is already under execution, the information relating to its execution must be recorded. See more information about this operation in the Editing task in progress section.

5.To finish the execution of a task, enter the actual end date of the task execution or fill in the % actual field with the value 100%. It is also possible to use the fill-in option so that the planned or rescheduled dates are the task execution dates. See the detailed description on how to finish the execution of one or multiple tasks in the Executing a task section.

6.Save the record after that. At this point, the system will issue an alert informing the task will be finished, being no longer possible to edit it or add values to it and ask whether you wish to send it to the next step. Choose the desired option:

OK: The task will be sent to one of the following steps:

Task verification: If during the inclusion of the task is selected the Task verification task, the system will generate the Task verification task for the due responsible party.

Execution approval: If the Execution approval option is checked in the task type, the system will generate the Task execution approval task for the due responsible parties to perform this operation.

Closure: If the task does not have the verification step nor the execution approval configured, it will be closed.

Cancel: The task will remain pending with the "Execution" status. The task execution closure can also be performed by clicking on the button on the main screen toolbar or through the Execution Task execution menu.
