Copying a record

Through the Management arrowrgray Planning menu, it is possible to create a record through the copy of an existing APQP. To do that, in the list of records, select the one to be copied and, in the main screen button menu, click on the More arrowrgray Clone record button:

On the screen that will be displayed, the fields of the following sections will be available:

From: This section displays the information of the previously selected record to be copied. For selection of records that are in other steps besides "Planning", in the APQP/PPAP # field of the copy wizard, the records that are in other steps will be available. If necessary, search for and select the desired record.

To: In this section, fill out the data of the record that will be created from the copy, such as the APQP #, its type, the item for the study and the customer of the chosen item.

In the Form tab, select the source APQP forms that will be copied to the destination APQP.

In the Copy options tab, configure the options you wish to import from the origin item configurations:

Associate processes from origin item with destination item: The same processes will be copied from the origin item.

Copy characteristics from origin item process to destination item: The item process characteristics of the origin APQP will be copied to the destination record.

Copy characteristics from origin item to destination item: The characteristics of the origin APQP will be copied to the destination record.

Keep predecessor configuration: By checking this option, if the origin item has the predecessor between tasks configuration, the destination item will also inherit it.

 

4.

After that, save the record.
