Creating a calibration plan

Previous  Top  Next

See below how to draft a calibration plan:

Calibration plans may also be created through the asset data screen, in the Control Events Calibration section.

Click on the toolbar button to create a new calibration plan. At this point, the system will display a screen to define the standard activity that will be used by the calibration plan. To do that, select the Activity that will be associated with the calibration plan.

It will only be possible to select calibration activities, that is, standard activities with the "Calibration activity" field checked. Refer to the Configuring the standard activity section for more details on how to configure the activity that may be selected for the calibration plans.

After defining the plan activity, the system will display the calibration plan screen:

General data

ID #: Enter an ID # for the calibration plan.

Name: Enter a name for the calibration plan.

Plan type: This field will be filled with the plan type in question which in this case is calibration.

Activity: This field will be filled with the activity selected in the previous step. This field will only be displayed if the Inherit activity data option has been selected when creating the calibration plan.

Asset(s): Use this field to associate the asset that will be calibrated with this plan. On the new screen, select the desired asset and save your selection. At this point, the asset will be displayed below this field. In the selection list, assets with an amount greater than "1" (one) will not be displayed.

Responsible team for plan: Select the team responsible for calibrating the assets. The users of the team responsible for the plan have full access to the activities of the plan, being able to schedule activity, generate scheduling, execute activity and receive the Calibration due date task. The users in this team will receive the Calibration programming task just as the planning is saved, for each one of the assets associated in this plan.

Save the record, but do not close the data screen. At this point, the other sections will be enabled to be filled out.

Details on how to configure the other fields in the General data section can be found in the Editing a calibration plan subsection.

After completing the plan record, the system will generate the Calibration due date task as long as the Next execution field is in accordance with the notification anticipation configuration described below.
