Overview:

The dataset is a data collection built from an SQL command. The data come from data sources (external bases). Datasets are associated in form items which display external data to the system. Therefore, the dataset SQL must be configured in order to display the necessary data for the forms.

 

Specific buttons:

new

Creates a dataset. See further details about this operation in the Creating a dataset section.

edit

Edits the dataset selected in the list of records.

delete

Deletes the dataset selected in the list of records.

default

Simulates the dataset. By clicking on this button, the system will display a screen to enter the dataset parameter values. Enter the desired values and click SEARCH button.

report

Configures a new report or associates an existing report.

status

Edits the status (enabled/disabled) of the selected dataset.
