Overview:

Use this menu to create the causes of defects. The cause is the reason why the defect occurred, that is, the reason why there was a nonconformity in the object. In the system, the causes of defects are associated with the characteristics that may later be related to the objects.

 

Specific buttons:

Click on this button to create a new cause. For further information on this operation, see the Creating a cause section.

Click on this button to edit a cause. Select the desired record before clicking on the button.

Click on this button to delete a cause. Select the desired record before clicking on the button.

Click on this button to view a cause. Select the desired record before clicking on the button.

Click on the arrow next to this button to export the list of records displayed on the main screen to an Excel file, configure a new report or associate an existing report, or search for the parameters that may be used in the configuration of new reports.

Click on this button to enable/disable the selected record on the main screen. To view the disabled records, use the "Status" field of the General filter in the search filters panel.
