Indicator percentage calculation default formula

The formula used to calculate the indicator target achievement percentage varies according to the target. There are 3 variations:

The formula to calculate the percentage consists of: (MEASUREMENT / TARGET) * 100.

Target: 250

Measurement: 100

% = (100 / 250) * 100

% = 40

When the measurement is equal to the target, the percentage is considered 100%; thus, the formula used in the calculation consists of: % = 100 + MEASUREMENT.

Target: 0

Measurement: 0

% = 100 + 0

% = 100

Example 1

Target: 0

Measurement: 200

% = 100 + 200

% = 300

Considering 100% is achieved when the measurement is equal to the target, when the target is negative, it is necessary to define point 0%, since it cannot be when the measurement is 0, as 0 is greater than the target. Thus, the point 0 is twice the value of the target. Thus, the formula used to perform the calculation consists of: % = (MEASUREMENT - POINTZERO) / (TARGET - POINTZERO) * 100, IN WHICH POINTZERO = TARGET * 2.

Target: -100

Measurement: -100

Point zero: -100 * 2 = -200

% = (-100 - (-200)) / (-100 - (-200)) * 100

% = (100 / 100) * 100

% = 100

Example 1

Target: -500

Measurement: -250

Point zero: -500 * 2 = -1000

% = (-250 -(-1000)) / (-500 - (-1000)) * 100

% = (750 / 500) * 100

% = 150

Example 2
