Creating documents

To create a document, click on the button in the main screen toolbar.

 

Fill out the following fields on the data screen that will be displayed.

 

 

Field

ID #

Enter the number or code that identifies the document.

Name

Enter a name for the document.

Document type

Select the type that classifies the document. This field will be automatically filled out by the system if, on the main screen hierarchy, a document type is selected.

Revision

Enter the revision number of the document.

File

By selecting this field, locate the desired document.

URL

After selecting this field, enter the electronic address of the desired document.

Description

Enter a brief description of the document.

 

Save the record after filling in the fields above.
