Location: Configuration Risk Decision tree

Prerequisites:

None.

Overview:

The definition of a Decision tree may focus on several aspects. SE Risk was originated from the need for control and Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Point (HACCP), which is a food safety management system. This system is based on analyzing the various stages of food production, analyzing the potential health hazards of consumers, and determining preventive measures to control these hazards through Critical Control Points (CCP). Currently, a HACCP system may be ISO 22000 certified.

A CCP is a step in which a control may be applied, being essential to preventing or eliminating a hazard related to food safety, by reducing or keeping it at acceptable levels. Decision trees are tools that assist in determining the Critical Control Points (CCP) of the process or of the product that will be analyzed, because they consist in asking a series of questions for each step in the making of the product.
