Task:

APQP/PPAP planning

Who receives it:

This task is generated to the responsible user and members of the team responsible for the APQP/PPAP.

When:

Just as the revision of the item, in which an APQP/PPAP study will be performed, is finished.

Purpose:

To alert that the APQP/PPAPs need to be revalidated due to item revision.

 

How to execute this task:

 

Select the desired APQP/PPAP from the list of pending records.

 

After that, click on the default button on the toolbar.

 

At this point, the APQP/PPAP revalidation screen will be displayed. In the Action field select one of the following options:

Action

 

None

Select this option for no action to be taken about the APQP/PPAP in question.

New

Select this option to create an APQP/PPAP.

New from existing

Select this option to create an APQP/PPAP based on the APQP/PPAP in question, associating it with the latest item revision.

Add revision

Select this option for a new revision to be created for the APQP/PPAP in question. This option will only be displayed if the APQP/PPAP is released and has revision control.

Associate last released revision

Select this option to replace the APQP/PPAP obsolete revision by the current revision. This option will only be displayed if the APQP/PPAP is in the planning step.

 

After selecting one of the options of action, click on the save_exit button to execute the task.
