Overview:

Attributes - also known as metadata - are properties that describe the records. The attributes allow you to manage, understand, and view records they are associated with. From this menu, it is possible to create all the attributes that can be associated with the SE Suite components records.

 

Specific Buttons:

new

Click on this button to add a new attribute. See further details about this operation in the Configuring an attribute section.

edit

Click on this button to edit the attribute selected in the list of records.

delete

Click on this button to delete the attribute selected in the list of records. The system will request the countersign when clicking on it if the "Request user countersign when performing critical operations in the components" option is checked in the SE Configuration component (CM008).

report_config

Click on the arrow next to this button to export the list of records displayed on the main screen to an Excel file, configure a new report or associate an existing report, or search the parameters that may be used in the configuration of new reports.

status

Click on this button to enable or disable the record selected on the main screen. To view the disabled records, use the "Status" field of the General filter, in the search filters panel. The system will request the countersign when clicking on it if the "Request user countersign when performing critical operations in the components" option is checked in the SE Configuration component (CM008).

translate-language

Click on this button to translate the name of the attribute selected in the list of records. If the attribute is of the "List of values" type, it will also be possible to translate its values. See further details about this operation in the Translating an attribute section.

 

Use "Search filters" to find records more easily through specific information: ID #, name, status of the record, components that use them, and data type.
