Creating a preventive maintenance

See how to draft a preventive maintenance plan:

1.Click on the toolbar button to create a new preventive maintenance plan. At this point, the system will display a screen to define the activity that will be used by the preventive maintenance plan. Select one of the following options:

Inherit activity data: Select this option to create a plan by inheriting data from an existing standard activity. To do this, select the Activity that will be inherited in the respective fields. When a preventive maintenance plan is created with this option, the data related to the activity are not displayed in the preventive maintenance plan data, that is, in the preventive maintenance plan, it will only be possible to edit the plan data and the standard activity will be associated with this plan.

Copy data from activity: Select this option to copy the data of an activity to the plan activity. To do this, select the Activity to be copied in the respective fields. When a preventive maintenance plan is created with this option, the data related to the activity are incorporated into the plan, that is, the plan data will display the information of the standard activity, allowing this information to be edited.

2.After defining the plan activity, the system will display the preventive maintenance plan screen:

3.In the General data section, fill in the following fields:

ID #: Enter an ID # for the preventive maintenance plan.

Name: Enter a name for the preventive maintenance.

Plan type: This field will be filled with the plan type in question which in this case is Preventive maintenance.

Activity: This field will only appear if the user selected the "Inherit activity data" option in the previous step. This field will be filled with the activity selected in the previous step.

Asset(s): Use this field to associate the assets or asset templates with the preventive maintenance plan. On the new screen, select the desired asset and save your selection. At this point, the asset is displayed below this field, allowing other assets or templates to be selected. Assets with an amount greater than "1" (one) will not be displayed.

Responsible team for plan: Select the team that will be responsible for the preventive maintenance plan in question. This team will be allowed to create preventive maintenance activities in the "programming" or "execution" step, in their respective menus or through the Plan due date task. Teams must be created in SE Asset (Configuration Team), otherwise, use the button to create a new team.

Responsible team for planning: The system will only display this field if the user selected the "Copy data from activity option in the previous step. Select the team (SE Asset) that will be responsible for planning the preventive maintenance of the plan in question. This team will be allowed to create activities in the "programming" step, in their respective menu or through the Plan due date task.

Responsible team for execution: The system will only display this field if the user selected the "Copy data from activity option in the previous step. Select the team (SE Asset) that will be responsible for executing the preventive maintenance of the plan in question. This team will be allowed to create activities in the "execution" step, in their respective menu or through the Plan due date task.

4.After you have filled in all the required fields, the preventive maintenance plan data can be saved. To do that, click on the Save button. See the next subsection for how to complete/edit the other preventive maintenance plan information.
