Performing variable readings

See how to perform the variable reading of an asset:

 

1.In the list of records of the second quadrant, locate and select the desired asset.

 

Only the assets whose variable reading frequency is defined through the SE Asset component will be available. That is, when the "Variable reading" control is configured in the asset data.

 

2.Click on the new button, located in the third quadrant, to enter the values obtained in the variable reading. At this point, the variable reading data screen will be displayed:

Asset: This field is automatically filled by the system with the asset name (equipment), whose variable is being read.

Revision: This field is automatically filled by the system with the revision number of the asset (equipment), whose variable is being read.

Variable: This field is automatically filled by the system with the name of the variable being read.

 

3.On the Reading tab, enter the data of the variable reading:

Number: This field is automatically filled by the system with the variable reading number.

Date: Date on which the variable reading was performed. The system automatically fills this field in with the current date, but the date may be edited.

Time: Time at which the variable reading was performed. The system automatically fills this field in with the current time, but the time may be edited.

Value: This field will be displayed only for objective variables. Enter the value obtained in the objective variable reading.

Measurement unit: This field will be displayed only for objective variables. This field will be filled in with the measurement unit entered in the variable, but it may be changed to another measurement unit if needed.

Option: This field will be displayed only for subjective variables. Select, among the available options, the value that represents the variable reading. The options displayed in this field are configured when creating the subjective variable.

 

4.On the History tab, the system will display the remaining readings performed in the variable in question.

 

5.Save the reading data after entering the necessary data.
