Sorting

The sort operation serves to order the dimensions of the analysis and can be applied to any information type: numbers or text. Information can be organized in ascending or descending order. See how to perform the sort operation in the SE Analytics analysis environment, through the next example:

In the vision screen, whether it is from a component or an SQL command, drag the necessary fields to the analysis areas. To perform this sorting, click on some dimension fields; a screen will be displayed next to the field, where user can make some changes to the fields, such as the field name, format and sorting. In Sort fields, click on the button used for the sorting type to be applied to the field values:

Click on the Apply button to apply the sorting to the values of the field:

To delete a sorting configuration, user should click on the field and click on the sorting type button. At this point, the button that was "enabled" will change to "disabled". Click on the Apply button to delete the sorting. The sorting of many fields should be coherent to apply filters, otherwise it will not be displayed correctly.
