Adding a survey template

See a quick and easy way of creating a survey template in the "Create a survey template" topic of the SE Survey Quick Guide!

 

To create a survey template, perform the following steps:

 

1.Access the File arrowrgray Survey template menu.

2.On the toolbar, click on the new button.

3.Select a survey type for the template and click on save_exit.

4.At this point, the survey template data screen will be displayed. See below the steps to add the survey template:

 

General data

1.Enter a number or code to identify the survey template or use the arrow next to this field to generate an automatic ID #. If the use of identification mask was configured in the type, at the moment of generating the automatic ID #, the respective mask will be shown. The ID # generated through the mask can only be edited if the "Enable ID # change" option is checked on the data screen of the type.

2.Then, enter a name for the survey template.

3.Select the survey template mode.

Survey: Used for satisfaction surveys, for example.

Test: Used in training evaluations, for example.

4.In the Revision field, enter an ID # for the current revision1 of the survey template if it is Customized.

5.If you wish to define a different responsible user from the one adding the template, select the user that will be responsible for the surveys based on the template. Simply use the buttons next to the field to add a new logged user.

6.Select the team that will be responsible for the tracking of surveys based on the template being registered. Simply use the buttons next to the field to add a new team.

7.The "Responsible team for completing" field must only be filled out when the participants of the surveys based in this template are not able to answer the survey on SE Suite. In this case, select the team whose members will receive the notification e-mail and the "Survey response" task to enter the survey answers instead of the participants.

Even if a survey participant has access to SE Suite, they will not receive the "Survey response" task, as it will only be generated to the responsible team for filling out.

8.Select the language in which the tokens of warnings, labels, and buttons of the surveys based on the template will be displayed for guest respondents. Internal and external respondents will view this information according to the language configured for their accounts.

Note: The questions and answers will not be in the configured language.

 

General settings

1.Use this section to parameterize the following options related to the survey:

Anonymous survey:2: The respondent information will not be displayed when executing the survey.

Restart survey automatically2: A new answer step will be automatically started as soon as the surveys based on this template are answered. The system will wait 5 seconds to make a new survey question step available. Thus, it will be possible to make the surveys based on the template available to be answered in a totem of some customer service. By default, the surveys that have this option enabled will be anonymous.

Allow viewing of answers summary: Before finishing the survey, a screen with the summary of the entered answers will be displayed.

Allow score:2: It will be possible to define a weight for the questions and the answers of the survey. In that case, the value entered in the "Weight" field of the question data screen, as well as the "Score" column, will be used in the list of answers.

Show the "Give up" button: The "Give up" button will be displayed during survey execution, which allows users to give up on answering the survey. By default, this option is enabled by the system.

Enable link for multiple answers2: It will be possible to generate a link that will allow any person to answer the surveys based on the template. By default, the answers generated through this link are anonymous.

 

Critical analysis

This section will only be displayed if, in the type that classifies the template, the "Critical analysis" option is selected.

1.Select the user who will be responsible for the critical analysis of the surveys based on the template. By default, the user who is adding the template will be selected. If you wish to define a different user, simply use the available buttons to add another logged user.

2.Select a team that will be responsible for the critical analysis of the surveys based on the template.

3.In the "Deadline (days)" field, enter the number of days the responsible parties will have to execute the "Survey critical analysis" task.

 

Closure

This section will only be displayed if, in the type that classifies the template, the "Closure" option is selected.

1.Select the user responsible for the closure of the surveys based on the template. By default, the user who is adding the template will be selected. If you wish to define a different user, simply use the available buttons to add another logged user.

2.Select the team that will be responsible for the closure of surveys based on the template in question.

3.In the "Deadline (days)" field, enter the number of days the responsible parties will have to execute the "Survey closure" task.

 

Correction

This option will only be available if the template mode is "Test".

Select the option that corresponds to how the correction will be performed:

Automatic: The survey correction will be performed by the system. For this resource to work correctly, it is necessary that the questions that compose the survey have the right answers properly configured. Check the "Allow correction viewing" option to view the correction of the questions when finishing the survey.

Manual: The survey correction will be performed by a responsible user or team. In this case, use the available fields to define the user and team responsible for correcting the answers of the surveys based on the template. Define also the number of days the responsible parties will have to execute the "Survey correction" task.

Anonymous correction: Check this option for it not to be possible to identify the member of the team who corrected the test.

Allow correction viewing: Check this option to view the correction of the questions when finishing the survey.

 

Description

Enter relevant information about the survey template.

 

Attribute

This section will only be displayed if at least one attribute is associated in the "Attribute" tab of the type that classifies the template.

Enter the values of the displayed attributes. Those that are required must mandatorily have their values filled; whereas blocked attributes will be filled by the system with the default value defined when associating them with the type. The way to fill out an attribute varies according to the configurations established during its creation.

 

After filling out all the necessary fields, save the record. At this point, the other sections and fields will be enabled to be filled out. Refer to the Editing a survey template section for a detailed description.

 

1 - The "Revision" field will only be available if, in the type that classifies the template, it is defined that it will go through revision. If the revision ID # has been defined to be Numeric or Text, this field will be filled out by the system with the number/letter that corresponds to the current revision of the survey template.
