Configuring Amazon Console Home

SE Suite allows users of SE Document and SE PDM to use the Amazon S3 service for electronic file storage. For the storage to be possible, first, it is necessary to perform the following configurations:

 

1.

Access Amazon Console Home and login with the administrator account credentials.

 

2.

Access the Security, Identity and Conformity arrowrgray IAM menu.

 

3.

Add a user or use a previously registered user. Access the Security credentials tab and click on Create access key.

 

4.

At this point, both the access key ID and the Secret access key are generated.

 

5.

Once done, access the Storage arrowrgray S3 menu.

Click on Create a bucket and, on the screen that will be open, enter the name of the bucket and the region in which it will reside. For a detailed description on how to register to Amazon S3 and create a bucket, refer to the AWS Documentation.

 

After performing the configurations above, access SE Suite arrowrgray SE Configuration arrowrgray Configuration menu arrowrgray System (CM006).

For attachments and SE Document and SE PDM electronic files to be stored in the Amazon S3 repository, in the Uploaded files storage arrowrgray Amazon S3 Storage section, check the Enable option and, on the fields that will be enabled, enter the "access key ID" and the "secret access key" obtained in step 04, as well as the "region" and the name of the "bucket" created in step 06.

For the files related to imports regarding ADINTERFACE or SE Capture hot folders to be stored in the Data integration file storage section, check the Enable option and fill out the fields that will be enabled with the "access key ID" and the "secret access key" obtained in step 04, as well as the "region" and the name of the "bucket" created in step 06.

Save the configurations performed.
