Analysis import

The system allows an analysis and its visions to be exported and imported from one SE Suite installation to another, such as from a test or release environment to a production environment. The feature will be available through "FileAnalysis panel (AN003)", through the "MoreExport/Import" button.

Important: If the source SQL is not compatible with the destination database, after the import, the system will notify the user that the SQL must be made compatible with the destination database.

To export an analysis, select the desired record in the "File Analysis panel (AN003)" menu and click on the button. At this point, the system will save the exported file on the computer (.seana extension).

To import an analysis, access the "File Analysis panel (AN003)" menu and click on the button. At this point, the analysis import wizard will be displayed. See below how to perform the import:

File

In the File step, select the analysis file that was exported from SE Suite. Remember that the file must have the .seana extension. Then, click on the "Import" button to continue the import.

Result

The "Result" step will display the status of the analysis import. Click on the "Edit analysis" button to allow editing information from the imported analysis. Refer to the Creating/Editing an analysis section for more details on how to edit the analysis.
