Defining a timeout

Previous  Top  Next

In the SE Analytics general parameters, it is possible to establish a timeout for the execution of the following operations:

SQL command execution

By default, the time for the execution of SQL commands in SE Analytics is 5 minutes. After this time, a timeout error will occur.

To edit the default time, fill out the "Timeout for SQL command execution (minutes)" field with the limit of minutes for the SQL execution, between 1 and 5.

In order to use a time longer than 5 minutes, it will be necessary to perform complementary configurations in the application server. If necessary, contact technical support.

The analysis SQL is executed whenever reloading or dragging a vision to the portal or OLAP.

Materialization

By default, the time for the materialization of an analysis in SE Analytics is 5 minutes. After this time, a timeout error will occur.

However, for large volumes of data, it may be necessary to configure a longer time. In this case, fill out the "Timeout for materialization (minutes)" field with the limit of minutes for the materialization.

Data materialization is configured in the analysis and the materialization update is performed through a scheduling, which is also configured in the analysis. When the scheduling is started, the system will execute SQL and save the data in a temporary chart.
