Search filters

The user can locate records in several SE Suite screens and filter the results through the type hierarchy or advanced searches (specific). See how to filter searches:

 

Filtering records through the type hierarchy

 

1.To view a specific type of records, go to Search filters panel and click Select type button. A menu will be displayed on the right side of the button, which has the object types hierarchy:

 

 

2.The Group by button allows grouping records by the categories/object types or the recorded dynamic navigators.

After selecting the category/object type, it is possible to expand and collapse the hierarchy of the displayed records, allowing a better viewing of them.

 

3.On the search bar, it is possible to type in the item to be searched. After typing, press "Enter" to filter the search.

 

4.Select the Display lower level records option, to display the records which are in the hierarchy levels below the selected type.

 

5.To select the type, click on Apply button. At this point, all records of the selected type will be displayed on the main screen.

 

Filtering records through advanced filters

 

1.In case you need to filter the search through more specific information, the user can add search fields to locate the desired record precisely. To do so, in the Advanced filters section, click on the button to add filters. A menu will be displayed with all the options for specific filters of the screen where the user is viewing information. See an example below:

 

 

To delete some unnecessary search field, the user should click on X button placed on the upper left corner of the search field section you wish to delete.

 

2.After selecting one of the advanced filters, a section of the selected advanced filter should be added. This section will display specific filters of the screen where the view is performed. The description of those filters can be viewed in the component-specific documentation.

 

3.Click on the SEARCH button after filling out desired search fields. The result will be displayed on the main screen.

 

View favorite records

 

1.To search only the records that were classified as favorite, add the "Favorites" advanced filter. The following section will display in the search fields:

2.Check the Only favorites section and use the SEARCH button. Favorite records will be displayed on main screen.
