Associating a contract

To perform this association, execute the following steps:

 

1.In the File Document menu, select the document whose category is configured with the "Contract" type and click on the button.

 

2.On the data document data screen, select, in the Language field, the language of the electronic files of the document.

 

3.Save the changes.

 

4.Still in the same document, click on the Relationship option at the top of the screen.

 

5.To create a relationship between documents, click on the Add relationship button of the desired type:

Contract addendum

The document that receives a record as an addendum becomes its contract. In the Document selection field, associate a document that is an addendum of the contract in question.

 

Addendum contract

The document that receives a record as a contract becomes its addendum. In the Document selection field, associate a document that is a contract with the addendum in question.

 

6.The following configurations will be available:

Update the contract validity with the addendum validity: Check this option for the validity date to be copied from the addendum document to the contract document. If the addendum is revised or the validity date is edited, the contract will also be updated. If this option is not checked, the validity dates will be independent. However, addendum documents will not be listed in the document due date to-do tasks; only contracts will be revalidated.

Save common addendum attributes for the contract: Check this option for the attributes common to both records to have the value that exists in the addendum in both documents. If the attribute is edited in the addendum, the contract attribute must be updated. If the contract attribute changes, the addendum will not be edited.

 

7.Save the document.
