Connectors properties

To view and/or edit the process connectors properties, first select the desired connector in the flowchart. At this point, the properties of the selected connector will be loaded on the right-side. If the Properties panel is contracted, the user should click on it to expand it. See the description of the fields of each section of this panel:

Shape

Background color: This field shows the line color of the selected connector. To edit it, click on the select_color button and select one of the colors in the palette that will open up.

Head color: This field shows the color of selected arrow. To edit it, click on the select_color button and select one of the colors in the palette that will open up.

 

Border

Head border color: This field shows the border color of selected arrow. To edit it, click on the select_color button and select one of the colors in the palette that will open up.

Thickness: This field shows the thickness of the arrow. Use the arrows next to this field to increase or decrease the thickness.

Style: In this field, it is possible to set the line style of the connector. Select one of the options: continuous or dashed (for the sequence flow connector), and continuous or dotted (for the association connector).

 

Text

Font color: This field shows the font color of the text displayed next to the connector. To edit it, click on the select_color button and select one of the colors in the palette that will open up.

Font size: This field shows the font size of the text displayed next to the connector. Use the arrows next to this field to increase or decrease the font size.

Label orientation: In this field, it is possible to set the text orientation of the connector. Select this field, if the text orientation of the selected connector should be horizontal or vertical.

Bold: Check this item to turn the connector text bold.
