Configuring the ISO9000-based revision |
For a survey to be revised according to ISO9000 standards, it is necessary to have implemented the following configurations:
1.In the type/category of the documents that must go through revision, access the Template revision tab. 2.Select the "ISO9000 based" option in the Revision process field. 3.In the Route type field, select the desired option: ▪Fixed: Allows the revision route to be selected/edited when creating the revision; however, it will not be possible to edit its members. ▪Fixed & unique: A default revision route will be set for all the documents of this category, that is, the selected route may not be edited (nor its members) when creating the revision. ▪Variable: Allows the revision route to be selected/edited when creating the revision, in addition to allowing editing its members. 4.In the Route field, select the revision route of the documents of this category. If the previously selected route type is "Fixed & unique", the completion of this field will be mandatory. See further details in the Adding a revision route section. 5.On the ID #, Cycle, and Change fields, select how the reference revision ID # of the documents of this category will be generated: ▪Numeric: A sequential number will be generated by the system. E.g.: 0, 1, 2, 3, ..., n; ▪Text: An alphabetical sequence will be generated by the system. E.g.: A, B, C, ..., AA, AB, ..., ZZ; ▪Customized: The system does not fill out this field and allows the user to assign any value to the revision ID #. 6.On the Retain obsolete revisions up to field, enter the number of revisions/months/years that will remain in the history of the documents of this category. 7.Perform the Configurations for the ISO9000 revision: ▪Approval: Determine how the revision approval will be made: oIncremental: The draft of a revision may be rejected both by the reviewer and the approver of the revision. If it is rejected by the reviewer, it automatically returns to the drafter. oCircular: The draft of a revision may only be rejected by the revision approver. Rejection by the reviewer does not return the revision to the draft step. ▪Closure: Define how the revision will be closed: oAutomatic: When the releaser executes their task, the revision will be automatically closed, meaning that the system will not generate the revision "Closure" step. oManual: When the releaser executes their task, the "Revision closure" step will be generated for the responsible users. ▪Draft / Review / Approval / Release: Configure how the system should proceed if there is more than one participant with the same sequence in each of the revision steps. Select one of the following options for each of the fields: oAND: All the participants of the step must accept the revision before it may continue to the next step; oOR: At least one of the participants must accept the revision before it may continue to the next step; 8.The following options may be parameterized:
9.After setting the configurations, save the record.
With these configurations, when creating a survey in the type, a revision will be created, and it will be possible to create revisions whenever necessary.
