Overview:

APQP, Advanced Product Quality Planning, is a structured method used for defining and establishing the steps necessary to ensure product will satisfy its customers. The goal of planning the product quality is to facilitate communication with all people involved in ensuring that all required steps are finished on time.

PPAP, Production Part Approval Process, defines generic requirements for the approval of production parts, including bulk and production material. The purpose of PPAP is to define whether all engineering project records and specification requirements are properly understood by the supplier and that the process has the potential to produce items that constantly meet these requirements during a period of actual production to a quoted production rate.

Use this menu to plan new APQP/PPAPs. This menu will also display the projects, from SE Project, whose type is configured with the integration with SE APQP/PPAP. See more details about this resource in the Planning a project APQP/PPAP section.
