Task:

Item family revalidation
|
Who receives it:
|
Team responsible for the item created from a family of items that went through revision. The deadline to execute this task is defined in the General parameters.

When:
|
Just as the revision of the family of items is finished, all the items created from that family will receive the item family revalidation task.
|
Purpose:
|
Notify that the items created from a family of items need to be revalidated due to the revision of the family of items.
|
How to execute this task:
1.Select the desired item from the list of pending records.
2.After that, click on the  button on the toolbar.
3.At this point, the item family revalidation screen will be displayed. In the Action field select one of the following options:

None

Select this option for no action to be taken about the item.

Add revision
|
Select this option for a new revision to be created for the item in question. This option will only be displayed if the item is released and has revision control.
|
Associate last released revision
|
Select this option to change the obsolete revision of the item to the current revision.
|
Automatic revision based on the latest family configuration
|
|
4. After selecting one of the options of action, click on the  button to execute the task.
