Editing a task |
In order to be possible to edit a task, you or the user who will perform this operation must have permission to edit tasks in the workspace displayed on the board or be a member of the Management team.
When accessing the "Execution Board" menu, the workspace screen will be displayed on the board. See below the operations that can be performed in the workspace tasks:
There are a few ways to edit a task in the workspace: ▪Selecting it in the workspace and clicking on the "Actions Edit" option, as shown in the image above; ▪Right-clicking on the task and selecting the "Edit" option; ▪Double-clicking on the task.
At this point, the task screen will be displayed:
On the task screen, it will be possible to change some task information, such as step, title, priority, sprints, deadlines, description, reporter, and assignee, as well as to add attachments, fill out attributes, and view its history. It is also possible to execute the task by editing the step in which the task is found.
It will not be possible to edit the Task type, since this field will only be available to be filled out during creation. On the upper right corner of the screen, there is the Menu button, which displays shortcuts for certain sections of the task and has the "Create list", "Add association" and "Enter time" actions.
After editing task information, click on the "Save" button to apply the changes; otherwise, click on the "Cancel" button. |
