Location: View Resource
Overview:
Through this menu, it is possible to view and track the use of the resources (labor or assets) in the (nonproject or project) tasks, monitored events, meetings (SE Meeting), planned or isolated actions (SE Action Plan), verification activities (SE Asset), calibration activities (SE Calibration) and preventive and corrective maintenance (SE Maintenance) the logged user is allocated to or exercises responsibility over. Through the field located in the upper right part of this menu, it is possible to alter the search view between:
▪Details: The resources created in the system are displayed along with their planned, rescheduled and actual hours; the percentage comparative between the replanned x planned and planned x actual; the calendar applied to it, its classification, whether it is generic or not and whether it is third-party or not. ▪Total: The total resource planned, rescheduled and actual hours is displayed, as well as the percentage comparative between the replanned x planned, actual x rescheduled and planned x actual hours. ▪Resource usage: The histogram of the resource selected in the list of records is displayed in the "Details" vision.

Click on this button to view the data of the resource selected in the list of records.

Click on this button to view the calendar of the resource selected in the list of records.

Click on this button to analyze the result obtained from the search.

Click on the arrow next to this button to configure and issue the desired resource and task reports. This button also allows exporting the list of records displayed on the main screen to an Excel file, configuring a new report or associating an existing report, and it also searches for the parameters that may be used in the configuration of new reports.

Click on this button to view the usage chart of the selected resource. See more details about this operation in the Viewing a histogram section.

Click on this button to change the main screen layout to three quadrants. When selecting this option, the third quadrant displays the data of the tasks which the resource selected in the list of records of the second quadrant is allocated to or is responsible for.

Click on this button to change the main screen layout to two quadrants.

Use the following filters to find the records you wish by using specific information. To use all filters, go to the Search filters panel and click on the button to add them.

In the Start and End fields, select the desired range of dates to view the resource allocation that will be searched for.

Click on the Add components button, in the Search in field, select the object type (project or nonproject task, project, verification activity, calibration activity, meeting, isolated action, or action plan etc.) and in the Value field, the object in which the resource you wish to search is allocated. To use more than one component in this search, use the Add components option at the bottom of the panel and repeat the procedure described previously. After adding the desired components, click on the Apply button.

Display: Expand the list and check the desired options for the system to display, in the search result, the objects the resource is allocated to and/or exercises responsibility over. Use the other buttons on the side of the field to check all available options and clear the markups made.
Search in: Expand the list and select the options that correspond to the objects the resource you wish to view is allocated to or is responsible for.
Display: Expand the list and select the options that correspond to information about the usage of the resource you wish to view: planned, replanned and/or actual.

Use the fields in this filter to find the resource you wish to view through the task it is related to. To do that, enter the ID # and/or name of the desired task.

Use the fields in this filter to find the resource you wish to view through the object it is related to. To do that, enter the ID # and/or name of the desired object.

ID #: Enter the ID # of the resource you wish to search.
Name: Enter the name of the resource you wish to search.
Classification: Expand the list and select the corresponding options to indicate that the resource you wish to search is a labor resource or an asset (SE Asset). Use the other buttons on the side of the field to check all available options and clear the markups made.
Generic: Expand the list and select the corresponding options to indicate whether the resource you wish to search is a generic resource or not.
Third-party: Expand the list and select the corresponding options to indicate the resource you wish to search is or is not a third-party resource.
Calendar: Select the calendar applied to the resource you wish to search.
Status: Expand the list and select the options that correspond to the status of the resource record (active or inactive).

Click on the Add department button and select the department to which the resource you wish to search belongs to. To use more than one department in this search, use the Add department option at the bottom of the panel and repeat the procedure described previously. After adding the desired departments, click on the Apply button.

Click on the Add position button and select the position exercised by the resource you wish to search. To use more than one position in this search, use the Add position option at the bottom of the panel and repeat the procedure described previously. After adding the desired positions, click on the Apply button.

Click on the Add functional role button and select the functional role assigned to the resource you wish to search. To use more than one functional role in this search, use the Add functional role option at the bottom of the panel and repeat the procedure described previously. After adding the desired functional roles, click on the Apply button.

Click on the Add attribute button and select the attribute associated with the resource type that you wish to search, the operator and a value for it. To add more than one attribute in this search, use the Add attribute option at the bottom of the panel and repeat the procedure described previously. After adding the desired attributes, click on the Apply button.

Use the fields of this filter to find the asset used as resource you wish to search. To do that, select the desired asset or enter its ID # and/or name.

Click on the Add attribute in the result button and select the attribute that will be displayed as a column in the list of records of the search. To add more than one attribute in this search, use the Add option at the bottom of the panel and repeat the procedure described previously. After adding the desired attributes, click on the Apply button.

After you complete the necessary filters, click on the SEARCH button on the Search filters panel or press ENTER on the keyboard to perform the search. The system will list the results on the right side of the search screen.
