Finishing the editing of a requirement

This section will display the procedure to close the planning or revision step of a requirement whose type is configured with a "simplified" revision template.

If the defined revision template is "ISO9000 based" or "Workflow", the Requirement revision task will be recorded in the "My tasks" menu; therefore, view this section for further details on how to finish the planning of requirements.

To finish a mapping, first, locate and select it in the main screen list of records. After that, click on the toolbar button. At this point, the record data screen will be opened.

At the upper part of the screen, the following options will be available:

Option
Release version	By clicking on this option, the system releases the requirement revision, which becomes the current revision.
Discard changes	By clicking on this option, the system will discard all changes made to the record, restoring the data of the last released revision.
