Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) is a group of systemic activities with the aim of:

Recognizing and evaluating the failure of a design/process/asset/project schedule/object and it effects;

Identifying actions that can eliminate or reduce the chance that the failure mode will occur;

Documenting the analysis process.

 

The FMEA methodology can be applied in the development of the design of a product (item), in the production process of the design (item), in an asset, process, project schedule or object. To do that, access the following submenus:
