Configuring a severity criterion

To configure a severity criterion, on the toolbar of the main screen, click the arrow next to the button and select a type to classify the criterion:

▪Design FMEA

▪Process FMEA

▪Asset FMEA

▪Project schedule FMEA

▪Object FMEA

Then, fill out the following fields on the data screen that will be displayed:

Fields
Type	This field is automatically filled out according to the option selected on the main screen.
Effect	Enter the effect, that is, the name of the severity criterion.
Customer effect	State how the severity criterion will affect the customer.
Index	Enter the occurrence criterion rating on a scale from "1" to "10".

Save the record after filling in the fields above.
