Importing structure

In this section see how to add data into an Excel spreadsheet as well as import the structure of this spreadsheet into the system:

The system allows the FMEA structure to be imported from an Excel spreadsheet. The following structure information can be imported to the SE FMEA database: failure mode, failure effect, failure cause, rating, classification, failure control (prevention/detection) and action. See below an example of the spreadsheet that will display:

The spreadsheet displays information already recorded in the structure, if there is any. The first tab, FMEA, lists all the data in a table. In the other tabs, the records are presented and can be included in each level, individually, as needed. These records will be imported into the system and kept in the database. See the example highlighted in the illustration below:

On the toolbar in the FMEA structure screen, click on the Import button. On the screen that opens, select the spreadsheet to be imported. It will only be possible to import spreadsheets; whose form is Import form and the format is .xls or .xlsx.

Click on the button to import the selected spreadsheet into the FMEA structure in question.
