Editing a report parameter

In the Parameter tab of the report data screen, the editable parameters of the report, if any, are displayed. They are used when you wish for the user to enter some data or for the system to transmit said data to the report. In reports of the "System" type, the parameters come from SE Suite itself, while in reports of the "Customized" type, the parameters come from the .jrxml files associated in the File tab.

 

To edit a parameter, first, locate and select it in the list of records of the tab. Then, click on the edit_padrao button on the side toolbar.

 

The following fields are available in the parameter data screen:

Field

 

ID #

Displays the ID # of the selected parameter.

Name

Enter a name for the parameter.

Type

Displays the type of the selected parameter.

Description

Fill out this field to record relevant information about the parameter.

File

Enter the default value of the parameter.

 

After making the necessary changes, save the record.

 

Use the subtitle button located next to the report button in the system's main screens to view the legend of the parameters transmitted to the report. These parameters will be transmitted automatically, and the user is not allowed to edit them.
