Executing a revalidation

See below how to execute a document revalidation:

 

1.Access the My Tasks Document due date menu.

 

2.In the list of pending records, select the desired document.

 

3.According to the desired action, perform the following procedures in the document:

Desired action

The document will be revalidated

In this case, click on the arrow next to the button and select the Add new revalidation option. On the screen that will be opened, enter the validity date (if variable) and an explanation for the revalidation.

View the Revalidating a document section for further details on how to perform this operation. When the document is truly revalidated, it will no longer be displayed in the list of pending records.

The document will be revised

In this case, click on the arrow next to the button and select the Add new revision option. This option will only be enabled if the category of the pending document has the Revision control configured.

View the Revalidating a document section for further details on how to perform this operation. When the document revision is closed, it will no longer be displayed in the list of pending records.

The document record is no longer of any worth to the organization; therefore, it will be deleted

In this case, click on the button. In order to perform this operation, it is necessary to have the "Delete" control allowed in the security of the document.

The document is no longer of any worth to the organization, but its record must be maintained

In this case, the document must be cancelled. To do that, click on the More button and select the Cancel document option.

The document is a contract and it is no longer of any worth to the organization, but its record must be maintained

In this case, the contract must be closed. To do that, click on the More button and select the Finish contract option.
