SE Document Add-in

This section is dedicated to users who use the add-ins developed for MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook, to assist in the execution of content management tasks, document preparation, etc. When installing the add-in correctly, the Softexpert tab will be added to the respective applications, such as the following example. By default, the following options will be displayed:

 

 

Options

Open1

Allows opening electronic files of the documents recorded in SE Document. See more information in the Open section.

Save new document

Allows creating a document from the file. See more information in the Saving a new document section.

Save in existing

Allows saving the file in a previously created document. See more information in the Saving in existing section.

Switch language

Allows switching the add-in language. Note that the language change will only be applied to the add-in options and not to the native options of the MS Office application.

Log off

Allows closing the add-in session.

1 - Not available for MS Outlook.

 

The installer is unique and can be found in the web\wwwroot\document\app folder.

For the add-in to work, the .gz extension must be enabled in the upload security configurations in the Configuration System (CM006) menu of the SE Configuration component.

Since the functionalities of the 3 add-ins are similar, they will be described together and will be identified where they differ.
