Copied categories: Displays the category structure (that is, the upper level category with its lower level categories, if any) that is being copied.

ID #: Displays the ID # of the category that is being copied with the "_Copy" termination, and it is possible to edit it. In that case, enter a number or code to identify the new category created from the copy. The ID # of the new category cannot be the same as the ID # of the category it was copied from.

Name: Displays the name of the category that is being copied, and it is possible to edit it. In that case, enter the name of the category created from the copy.

Done that, select the button. At this point, the system displays on the category hierarchy of the main screen the new structure of the categories that have been generated. The system will copy information automatically to the new category (except by the ID # and name), but the user can edit it. See the Configuring a category section for more details on filling in the fields of the category data screen.

If the category you wish to copy has revision control or specific configurations of an electronic file (general and archiving) and security, they will not be copied to the new category. Thus, after the desired category has been copied, such configurations should be applied again to the new category.
