Overview:

Identification masks may be configured to easily and quickly automate and standardize the identifiers (ID #s) of the objects created in the system.

 

Specific buttons:

new

Click on this button to create an identification mask. See further details about this operation in the Configuring an identification mask section.

edit

Click on this button to edit an identification mask. Select the desired record before clicking on the button.

delete

Click on this button to delete an identification mask. Select the desired record before clicking on the button. The system will request the countersign after clicking on this button if the "Request user countersign when performing critical operations in the components" option is checked in the SE Configuration component (CM008).

report_config

Click on the arrow next to this button to export the list of records displayed on the main screen to an Excel file, configure a new report or associate an existing report, or search for the parameters that may be used in the configuration of new reports.

status

Click on this button to enable/disable the record selected on the main screen. To view the disabled records, use the "Status" field of the General filter, in the search filters panel. The system will request the countersign after clicking on this button if the "Request user countersign when performing critical operations in the components" option is checked in the SE Configuration component (CM008).

 

Use the Search filters to find the records more easily based on specific information (ID #, name, type, and/or status).
