Creating an incident

Previous  Top  Next

See how to create an incident:

1.

First, access the Execution Report an incident menu. At this point, the system will display the incidents that can be created in the form of cards. Favorite and most-visited incidents appear in a highlighted area. To find the incident that you wish to record more easily, use the filters that at the top of the screen and the type hierarchy (A). The incidents resulting from the research will be displayed on the right of the screen (B):

2.

Note that the processes are presented in the form of cards:

A

By hovering over the card icon, it becomes a "Play" button. Click on it to create an incident.

B

Click on the star button to indicate that the incident is a favorite. Incidents marked as favorites are displayed in a highlighted area on the execution screen.

C

By clicking on the information icon, it is possible to view the process data screen of the incident that will be recorded, to certify that it is the desired process.

D

This icon will only be displayed if the process already has an incident in progress. By clicking on it, the user will be taken directly to the My incidents task screen, where it will be possible to track the incidents in progress.

3.

To create an incident, click on the "Play" button on the desired card. In the field that will be displayed, enter the incident Title, and then click on the Start button. If you don't wish to create an incident, click on the Cancel button.

4.

If the incident starter is the executor of the first activity of the process flow and the activity is configured with the permission to change the ID #, title or description (Activity data Configurations Instance), then a screen will be displayed allowing you to change the ID #, Title or Description of the instance.

This screen will only be displayed to the incident starter if at least one of the following parameters has been marked in the activity data (Configurations Instance): "Enable ID # change", "Enable title change" or "Enable description change". If none of these fields is checked, then this screen will not be displayed.

5.

If in the Process security data, in the SE Process component, the "Enable starter to edit instance viewing permissions" option is checked, then during the execution of the first activity the Security section will be displayed, which will allow the executor to perform the desired security configurations for the incident that was recorded. See more details about this section in the 'Activity execution Entering the data of an activity' section.

Refer to the Activity execution section for a more detailed view of the execution of incident activities.

Remember that if deadlines are configured at the time of the process modeling after the incident is recorded (initialized), actions may be triggered by the system. Refer to the specific documentation of the SE Process component for more information on deadlines and their configuration.
