Properties

By clicking on a strategy map design item in the Properties panel, it is possible to define its characteristics. The sections and fields presented may vary depending on the selected item:

General settings
Name	Enter a name for the item.
Indicator/Element	Select the element or indicator of the scorecard structure to which the item refers.
Strategy map	Type the name and click on the strategy map that will be associated with the selected item. Thus, the associated map will be a sub-map of the strategy map in question. Clicking on the item will open the defined strategy map. This option will not be available if the selected item is "Column".
Panel/Portal	Select the panel of a defined portal to associate it with the selected item. Clicking on the item on the strategy map will open the selected panel. This option will not be available if the selected item is "Column".
Column	This option will only be displayed if the selected item is "Column". Select the information pertaining to the previously selected element or indicator, which will be displayed in the column.

Icons (This section will not be displayed if the selected item is "Column")
Range items	Check this option so that the icon set in the range is displayed, associated with the element/indicator to which the item refers, which classifies its result.
Range configuration	Check this option to have the range classification associated with the element/indicator to which the item refers: the bigger the better, the lower the better or stabilize.
Place	Select where, in the item, the icons will be displayed.

Shape
Width	Displays the width of the selected item. To edit it, click on the field, type a new value for the width and press ENTER.
Height	Displays the height of the selected item. To edit it, click on the field, type a new value for the height and press ENTER.
Color	Displays the background color of the selected item. To edit it, click on the button next to the field and select one of the colors shown in the palette that will be opened.
Gradient	Check this option to enable the gradient effect on the background and border of the selected item.
Display background color	Check this option for the selected item to have a background color.
Use range color as background	Check this option so that when the scorecard is calculated, the item takes on the color of the range that classifies its result.
Transparency	Displays the transparency of the item. To edit it, use the sliding control to increase or decrease transparency.
Shape	Use this field to configure the shape of the item. The shape options are: rectangle, circle, ellipse, trapezoid, parallelogram, pentagon, hexagon, octagon, heptagon, diamond, triangle, inverted triangle, triangle to the left, triangle to the right, annotation and rounded rectangle.

Border
Color	Displays the border color of the selected item. To edit it, click on the button and select one of the colors shown in the palette that will be opened.
Dashed	Check this option so that the border of the item is dashed.
Thickness	Displays the thickness of the item border. To edit it, use the sliding control to increase or decrease thickness.

Text
Color	Displays the font color of the selected item. To edit it, click on the button and select one of the colors shown in the palette that will be opened.
Bold	Check this item to turn the text of the selected item bold.
Orientation	Use this field to set the text orientation of the item. Select in this field if the orientation will be horizontal or vertical.
Align	Use this field to set the text orientation regarding the item drawing. Select one of the following alignment options: right bottom, right, right top, left bottom, left, left top, bottom, center, top, outside bottom and outside top.
Size	Displays the font size of the item. To edit it, use the sliding control to increase or decrease the font size.

General settings
Name	Enter a name for the perspective.

Shape
Width	Displays the width of the selected perspective. To edit it, click on the field, type a new value for the width and press ENTER.
Height	Displays the height of the selected perspective. To edit it, click on the field, type a new value for the height and press ENTER.
Color	Displays the background color of the selected perspective. To edit it, click on the button and select one of the colors shown in the palette that will be opened.
Gradient	Check this option to enable gradient effect on the bottom and border of the selected perspective.
Display background color	Check this option for the selected perspective to have a background color.
Transparency	Displays the transparency of the selected perspective. To edit it, use the sliding control to increase or decrease transparency.

Border
Color	Displays the border color of the selected perspective. To edit it, click on the button and select one of the colors shown in the palette that will be opened.
Thickness	Displays the thickness of the perspective border. To edit it, use the sliding control to increase or decrease thickness.

Title
Background color	Displays the background color of the title area of the selected perspective. To edit it, click on the button and select one of the colors shown in the palette that will be opened.
Display background color	Check this option so that the title area of the selected perspective has a background color.
Gradient	Check this option to enable the gradient effect of the title area of the selected perspective.
Border color	Displays the border color of the selected perspective. To edit it, click on the button and select one of the colors in the palette that will open.
Thickness	Displays the thickness of the perspective title area border. To edit it, use the sliding control to increase or decrease thickness.
Transparency	This field shows the transparency of the title area of the perspective. To edit it, use the sliding control to increase or decrease transparency.

Title text
Font color	Displays the font color of the selected perspective. To edit it, click on the button and select one of the colors shown in the palette that will be opened.
Size	Displays the size of the selected perspective. To edit it, use the sliding control to increase or decrease the font size.
Bold	Check this item to turn the text of the selected perspective bold.

General settings
Panel/Portal	This field will only be displayed if a "Panel/Portal" shortcut is selected. In this case, select the panel and the portal to which the shortcut will direct.
Strategy map	This field will only be displayed if a "Strategy map" shortcut is selected. In this case, type the name and click on the strategy map to which the shortcut will direct.

Width	Displays the width of the selected shortcut. To edit it, click on the field, type a new value for the width and press ENTER.
Height	Displays the height of the selected shortcut. To edit it, click on the field, type a new value for the height and press ENTER.
Color	Displays the background color of the selected shortcut. To edit it, click on the button next to the field and select one of the colors shown in the palette that will be opened.
Gradient	Check this option to enable the gradient effect on the background and border of the selected shortcut.
Display background color	Check this option for the selected shortcut to have a background color.
