On the screen that will be opened, enter an ID # and a name for the downtime reason. Fill out the desired fields in the following tabs:

Note: The Attribute tab will only be available for completion after saving the record for the first time.

General

Delete downtime for usage rate indicators: By enabling this option, in the usage rate calculations, the downtime records using the reason do not influence the usage rate. Otherwise, the downtime records programmed with this reason will be considered when calculating the usage indicators.

Approval: The downtime records with this reason will go through the approval step. To do that, select one of the following options to define the route type responsible for the approval:

Variable: Defines that the responsibility route may be selected/edited through the downtime record data screen, as well as allowing the editing of its members.

Fixed: Defines that the responsibility route may be selected/edited through the downtime record data screen, but it will not be possible to edit its members.

Fixed & unique: Defines that there will be a default responsibility route for all downtime records with this reason, and it cannot be edited through the data screen (nor its members).

Fill out the Responsibility route field to preset the route that will be used for the approval of the downtime records with this reason.

The completion of this field is mandatory if the route type is "Fixed & unique". If another route type option is selected and this field is filled out, the system will use the entered responsibility route, but it will be possible to edit it through the downtime record screen. Only the approval responsibility routes will be available for selection.

Use the other buttons next to the field to add a new responsibility route, edit the data of the selected route, and clear the field.

If this option is disabled, the downtime records with this reason will not go through the approval step.

Create corrective maintenance when generating a downtime record: When a downtime record with this reason is generated, a corrective activity will automatically be created.

Thus, select one of the following options that will be enabled:

Generate one WO for each asset: A corrective activity will be created for each asset associated with the downtime record with this reason, that is, it will be necessary to start, fill out the work order, approve (if necessary) and close one by one.

Generate one WO associating all assets: A single corrective activity will be created for all assets associated with the downtime record that is, there will only be one flow for all assets.

In the respective field, select the standard activity from which the corrective maintenance activities will be created. The activities without the "Calibration activity" option checked will be available for selection.

If this option is disabled, a corrective maintenance activity will not be created when a downtime record with this reason is created.
