Structure

When editing the data of an asset and clicking on the arrow below the Structure section, the following subsections will be displayed:

 

Composed of

In this section, it is possible to assemble the structure of the asset in question. Use the following buttons:

Click on the arrow next to this button to add an asset or supply to the asset structure. The add button will only be enabled when selecting an asset from the structure.

▪Asset: Select this option to add an asset one level below the asset selected in the structure.

▪Supply: Select this option to add a supply one level below the asset selected in the structure.

Click on the arrow next to this button to edit the asset or asset/supply association in the structure.

▪Edit: Select this option to edit the asset or supply association in the structure. Once this option is selected, a screen will appear, where it is possible to edit some information regarding the supply/asset association. Note, however, that it will not be possible to edit the asset/supply of the association since it is necessary to delete the asset/supply and add the desired asset/supply.

▪Asset: This option is enabled only when the user selects an asset (sub-level) in the structure. Select this option to edit asset data that is at levels below the primary asset. In order to be able to edit the data, the user must be part of the team responsible for the asset.

Click on this button to view asset/supply data selected in the structure.

This button will only be enabled when selecting an asset or supply that is immediately after the upper-level asset, that is, it is only possible to delete assets or supplies that are one level below the main asset.

Click on this button to view the asset tree structure.

 

Add asset in the structure

1.To add an asset in the structure, select the asset that will be one level above the asset to be associated. After that, click on the button and select the Asset option.

2.Fill in the following fields of the screen that will display:

Asset: Select the asset that will make up the structure.

Revision: Select the number of the revision of the asset that will make up the structure.

Quantity: Enter the quantity of the asset, selected previously, that will make up the structure.

Comments: Enter the comments about the asset.

Upper level asset: This field is automatically filled in by the system with the asset that, in the structure on the screen, is one level above the record in question.

3.Save the record after filling in the fields above. Create as many sub-levels as necessary. To do that, in the structure on the screen, simply select the respective upper level asset that will be associated.

 

Add supply in the structure

1.To add a supply in the structure, select the asset that will be one level above the supply to be associated. After that, click on the button and select the Supply option.

2.Fill in the following fields of the screen that will display:

▪Supply: Select the supply that will make up the structure.

▪Revision: Select the revision number of the supply that will make up the structure.

▪Quantity: Enter the quantity of the previously selected supply, that will make up the structure.

▪Units of measurement: This field is filled with the measurement unit of the selected supply.

3.Save the record after filling in the fields above. Create as many sub-levels as necessary. To do that, in the structure on the screen, simply select the respective upper level asset that will be associated.

 

Where used

This section presents the other assets in which the asset in question belongs, that is, when the asset is part of the structure of another/other asset(s). Click on the button, located on the right side of the list of records, to view the data of the selected asset.

 

Relationship

This section displays the relationship between the asset selected in the list of records and other assets and/or processes. To edit it, use the button on the side toolbar. See further details on the screen that will be opened in the CMDB section.
