Overview:

Use this menu to create the assets the organization owns. Assets may be considered the estates of the organization (machinery, equipment, and vehicles). The system enables the creation of assets from previously configured templates, which makes it easier to create records that have similar information.

Specific buttons:

To create a new asset, click on the arrow next to this button and select one of the following options:

New asset: Allows adding a new blank asset. See further details about this operation in the Creating new asset section.

New from a template: Allows adding one or more assets based on a template created previously. See more details about this operation in the Creating asset from a template section.

Click on this button to edit the asset selected in the list of records. See further details on this operation in the Editing asset data section.

Click on this button to delete the asset selected in the list of records.

Click on this button to view the data of the asset selected in the list of records in "Read-only" mode.

Click on this button to view the relationship of the asset selected in the list of records with other assets and/or processes. See more details in the CMDB section.

Click on the arrow placed next to this button to configure and issue the desired asset reports. This button also allows exporting the list of records displayed on the main screen to an Excel file, configuring a new report or associating an existing report, and also searches for the parameters that can be used in the configuration of new reports.

Click on the Import option to add/delete an asset in the system or a relationship in the CMDB structure. See further details about these operations in the Asset import section.

Click on the Import computers option to manually import computers. See further details about this operation in the Importing computers manually section.

Click on this button to enable/disable the asset selected in the list of records. See further details about this operation in the Changing the status of an asset section.

Click on this button to add a new asset from the copy of an already created asset. Select the desired record before clicking on the button. After confirming the request made by the system, the asset data screen will be displayed to perform the required editing.
