Task:

MSA approval

Who receives it:

If a route responsible for approving the MSA is associated in the planning step, the task in question is sent to the members of this route.

Members that are part of the route responsible for approving the MSA.

When:

Just as MSA collection is finished.

Purpose:

To alert responsible users that an MSA needs to be approved.

 

How to execute this task:

Select the MSA to be approved in the list of pending records.

After that, click on the button on the toolbar.

Fill in the following fields on the data screen that will be displayed:

Approved: Select if the record will be approved or not.

Date: Approval date. This field is filled out by the system with the current date.

The Checklist tab will only be displayed if a Checklist is associated with a member of the responsibility route for approval. The objective of this checklist is to assist the responsible party in the approval or rejection of the record in question. In order to answer the checklist questions, in the Answer column in the records list, select the desired option (Yes, No, or N/A). The answers may be displayed already filled in by the system with a default option, defined when creating the checklist. Moreover, filling in the fields in the Comments column will be mandatory or not according to the configurations set when creating the checklist.

Use the Comment tab to enter necessary comments about the approval/rejection of the record. Remember that if the record is rejected, filling in this field is mandatory.

The Route tab will only be displayed in the responsibility route if it has been configured that the user in question may edit the approval flow. In that case, make the necessary changes.

 

7.

After filling in the fields above, save the record.

 

If approved, the MSA is closed. Otherwise, it will go back to the planning step.

Remember that this task will be generated only if a draft route is defined in the MSA planning. Otherwise, do not consider this section.
