Task:

Incident management

Who receives it:

The user defined as process manager or instance manager in the process that automates the incident.

When:

Once the incident is recorded.

Purpose:

Allow the user to manage the incidents that are under their responsibility and that are in progress or blocked for editing.

 

How to track this task:

 

1.

Select the desired incident from the list of pending records.

On the toolbar, click on the button that corresponds to the action you wish to perform:

Change/Edit

Click on this button to edit the data of the incident selected in the list of records.

Click on this button to delete the instance from the incident selected in the list of records. It is important to note that to perform this operation it is necessary to have the Delete control enabled in the incident security list.

Click on this button to access the flowchart of the incident selected in the list of records to make the necessary changes.

Click on the arrow next to this button to export the list of records displayed on the main screen to an Excel file, configure a new report or associate an existing report, or search for the parameters that can be used in the configuration of new reports.

Click on this button to edit the status of the incident selected from the list of records. When an incident is closed, postponed, or canceled, it will no longer appear in the list of pending records.

Click on this button to unblock an incident whose flowchart is blocked for edition. Before clicking on this button, make sure the workflow has no modeling errors. After unblocking the incident, it returns to the execution of its activities.

On the "Enabled activity" column, when hovering the mouse over the activity name, it will be displayed as a link. By clicking on the name of the activity, a pop-over menu will be displayed with some of the information regarding the activity, such as the deadline, the date in which it was enabled, the executor type and the executor. It will also display links to the following operations:

Execute activity: Use this option to execute the activity that has the flow of the workflow selected in the list of records.

Change executor: Use this option to change the executor of the activity selected in this menu.

Redefine deadline: Use this option to change the deadline of the activity selected in this menu.

 

Incident management may also be performed through the "Management Incident" menu.
